In the top left quadrant, we witness the normal interaction between an antibiotic and its target site within a bacterium. This serves as a baseline for understanding how resistance can occur. Moving to the top right quadrant, we observe the alteration of the target site, rendering the antibiotic ineffective against the bacterium.
